Spatial Audio is an exciting new technology that promises to become the next big audio format after stereo. Unlike older spatial formats, which all required speakers to be set up in fixed positions, Dolby ATMOS can work on as few as two speakers all the way up to up to 64 speakers. The system handles the decoding when ATMOS music is streamed, so you get the most immersive experience possible with your setup. Many new products come with Dolby ATMOS spatial audio, and the list is constantly getting longer. A few include: Apple’s AirPods, Beats, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs, Android smartphones, many new televisions and cars, and products from Sennheiser and Sonos.

  • We offer full Dolby ATMOS mastering. We can master ADM (audio definition model) files generated from Dolby ATMOS mix sessions and make sure your mixes sound their best. We use the best analog and digital processors to add warmth, dimension, and depth to your mix, as well as make sure that it sounds its best in every environment.

  • If you don’t have access to a full spatial audio mix room, we will create ATMOS mixes/masters for your project from stems. By using stems, we are able to keep the sound and integrity of your stereo mix, while creating an immersive experience. Our goal is to create spatial audio/Dolby ATMOS versions of your songs that complement the stereo mixes and maintain the aesthetic that you worked so hard to create

    This is an affordable way to get great-sounding spatial mixes that fully take advantage of the format. We will work with you and your engineers to ensure that we achieve your artistic vision with this new format.

  • For older projects, where there is no multi-track access, we can use different programs to generate stems from your stereo mixes for spatial audio/Dolby ATMOS. It’s incredible how well this new technology works.

  • We also allow mix engineers to use our room to create spatial mixes that we will master. We can recommend great mix engineers, or you can provide your own, and we will assist them with mixing for this process. We have a full Pro-Tools Ultimate system, Logic Pro, and the Dolby ATMOS production suite as well as the ability for mix engineers to bring their own computers for the mix sessions.

  • Tidal and Apple Music both stream spatial audio/Dolby ATMOS. It should be available on Spotify eventually. You can submit the ATMOS masters as a compliment to the stereo version on an ATMOS-compatible digital distribution service like Distrokid or The Orchard. The streaming services only stream ATMOS to ATMOS-compatible devices and won’t send them to incompatible devices. That’s the cool thing about ATMOS, since the playback devices handle all the decoding and make it effortless for the end user. Most new stereo receivers, many new televisions -possibly the majority, new Sonos systems, Sennheiser sound bars, and all current Apple products. Cars are just starting to come out with ATMOS, but it’ll probably be 5 or so years before that’s standard. It’s new, but it’s being pretty quickly adapted.

    We will provide you with a master ADM wave and a reference MP4 for you to audition the ATMOS version on Apple products.
